Added to this mission is the work in Necoclí, the area of influence of the agro-industrial cocoa production project that Luker carries out in this municipality, where we contribute to Educational Institutions with the experience of our initiatives: Escuela Activa Urbana (Escuela Nueva for rural areas), Universidad en tu Colegio and Aprende. Thanks to this work in education, students develop skills and strengthen aptitudes to better face current challenges.

Since our beginnings, we have supported the work of institutions from Manizales that focus their actions on improving the living conditions of the vulnerable population in areas such as health, nutrition, housing, education and the elderly.
All this is possible thanks to the legacy of the main benefactor of our Foundation, Inés Restrepo Mejía.
Based on our interest in making Manizales a better city for everyone, we support initiatives that contribute to the construction and training of better informed and more participatory citizens. Manizales Como Vamos and Estoy con Manizales are examples of this interest. It is an Alliance for Global Development (GDA) between USAID / Colombia, Luker Chocolate, Luker Foundation, Enel-Emgesa, Saldarriaga Concha Foundation and EAFIT University that contributes to the Chocolate Dream and that seeks to strengthen the cocoa production chain, assist improve the living conditions of producers and their communities with opportunities in four subregions: Urabá, Bajo Cauca, Central-South of Huila and Tumaco.
Chocolate Dream: Since 2015 we have joined to Luker Chocolate’s commitment to generate changes in the cocoa-growing regions of Colombia, using chocolate as a vehicle for transformation. Since this year we have contributed our knowledge in education and entrepreneurship in Necoclí (Antioquia), as mobilizers of change.
